	History
	Glass and Glazing systems Private Limited was incorporated as a Private limited company under the Companies Act 1956 on the 28th day of June 2000.The basic function of the company is to Manufacture Toughened Safety Glass, Heat Strengthened Glass, Insulated Glass Unit, glass processing and to deal in glass and value added glass. The company has been promoted by an existing business group in Trivandrum having diversified business activities and experience of over 100 years in manufacturing glass, laboratory equipments', powder coat painting and aluminium fabrication etc. The primary target of the company will be the Manufacturers of Solar Control Panel, Furniture Manufacturers, Architects, Interior Designers, Aluminium Fabricators and Builders in South India and SAARC countries who require quality glass products. We can offer better service, better quality, speedy delivery and better pricing structure.
	Facilities
	Horizontal Glass Tempering Plant One of our facility is Horizontal Glass Tempering Plant. This furnace offers a great flexibility of production, permitting change of thickness or of one glass colour to another without having to change any other parameters. This horizontal tempering plant has been designed mainly for mixed or series production, thanks to its low energy consumption and versatility. It can be used to produce glass for doors, shower cabins, glass for double glazing, glass for plant machinery, and has reached excellent results in producing glazings for railways, large series for the building industry, curtain walls, reflective and low emission glass as well as heat strengthened glass.

	Bottero Cutting Line Our another facility is Bottero Cutting Line. One of the highlights of the stand will be the new X-Y line for the cutting and severing of laminated glass sheets. This machine is able to produce twice the amount of cut glass sheets compared to a normal VSX line, which already has an average production of 400 to 500 square meters of 3+3+0.38 glass sheets cut per shift. The most important innovation of this line is represented by the new cutting table for low-E glass that includes belt transport as well as automatic loading functions for jumbo sheets from racks. This machine contains the technology of Bottero's well-known, tried and tested loaders, together with the equivalent of the 543LMT, a super-compact, completely automatic machine.

	Insulated Glass Unit Insulated Glass Unit fabricated from two or more glass sheets assembled through one or more airspace filled with air or inert gas separated by a metallic spacer a desiccant is incorporated the whole IG unit has a double sealing .Insulating glass is a multi-glass combination consisting of two or more panes enclosing a hermetically-sealed air space. The most important function of insulation glass is to reduce thermal losses, which offers many advantages: lower energy consumption, perfect transparency by reducing the incidence of condensation on the warm air side and the possibility of using larger glazed areas without increasing energy consumption.

	Uninterrupted Power Supply Another important facility is our own captive power plant assuring consistent power and tempered glass facility .During the manufacturing of products we use two high power generators which provide sufficient electrical energy without any delay.This is important because we can overcome loss of quality wastage of products which can happen if we use energy in public sector.

	The process undergoing during the manufacturing of tempered glass are Cutting, Polishing, Drilling, Slot cutting, Washing, Loading, Heating, Quenching, Cooling and Unloading .

	The Quality Standards followed by the company are: a) European standards Toughened glass quality confirming to European standard EN 12150-1/June 2000 b) Indian Standards Toughened glass quality confirming to Indian standard IS 2553(part 1):1990 Solar Flat Plate Collector-glass confirming to IS 12933(part2):2003
